iPhone died after taking a picture

My iPhone turned off and wouldn't come back on after I took a couple of pictures.  The battery was around 30%.  Pushed all the buttons and held each one for a few seconds with no luck.  Tried to recharge it and nothing. 

Googled the problem.  The solution was to push and hold both power and home buttons for a few seconds.  And that did the job.
